Can You Obtain a Rare Blade Again Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is jam-packed with mechanics and systems to juggle and manage, and one of the major ones you have to worry about is the use ofPouch Items. How you use Pouch Items is one of the most versatile components in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and getting it right can make a big difference to your Xenoblade experience.
Not only can the use of proper Pouch Items significantly increase your chances at victory in even the most difficult fights, they can even be used to increase the Trust level between you and any Blade in your arsenal. Since Blade affinity levels are often locked behind gaining a significant amount of Trust, this can be a way to unlock the higher abilities of Blades that you receive later in the game, or Blades that you simply haven't used in combat as much.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Where to find the Pouch Expansions

Every one of the five playable characters starts with a single Pouch slot but can be upgraded to two with the use of a rare Pouch Expansion item. This can make the use of pouch items incredibly versatile, such as using one item in Slot 1 to increase the rate at which you can use Driver Arts, and putting something in Slot 2 that auto recharges your Special attacks at a regular interval. The locations of some of the expansion items are pretty tricky though so here's a handy list for where to find them all:
Pouch Expansion 1: You'll receive this pouch expansion from the main story.
Pouch Expansion 2: You'll receive this pouch expansion from the main story.
Pouch Expansion 3: After the story event at Boulderbore Gate in Gormott, return to that area after the in-game scene moves the party away from it. In the back of the bandit cave, you'll find this in a chest.
Pouch Expansion 4: This one is tricky. What you'll want to do is Skip Travel to Godsford Isle in Leftheria. Once here, turn around and drop onto the nearby platform. It will begin moving. This platform will pass over a similar platform with a collection spot, but ignore it and stay until you reach further north, which will lead you to a second platform with a chest on it. Inside this chest is the Expansion item.
Pouch Expansion 5: Near the end of the Spirit Crucible dungeon area, head to Vault of Heroes and look underneath the staircase near the final altar. You can pass a moderate Field Skill check here to uncover the chest with the final Expansion item.
Pouch Expansion 6: On the right side of the upper level of Mor Ardain is a cliffside that you can only access by riding the moving cargo containers coming out of the factory at Beruf Industry Ward in the Northeast part of Alba Cavanich. Once you can access the building by using a key obtained during the 'We Meet Again' quest, you can ride the container to the isolated cliff, and find the Expansion item to the Northeast part of it.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Favorite Pouch Items
Every character and Blade has two favorite categories of Items, such as Instruments or Desserts, and then two favorite items in particular -- these favorite items aren't always from those favorite categories, so tracking them all down can be a bit of trial and error. Here we have a work-in-progress list of the favorite categories and items for all of the characters in the game. Start getting those Trust levels up!

Note that in our testing, oftentimes giving a blade an item from their favorite categories would give the same amount of trust points as giving them their favorite items, so it may be best just to find the cheapest item you can find from one of the two favorite categories. Equip a few blades with some overlapping categories and keep filling that pouch to level a few Blades' Trust all at once!
Note that to obtain some of the items from shops, you may have to increase your development level in that region in order to see their full offering of products.
